Angelita Valles is a Republican candidate for the United States House of Representatives in California’s 1st Congressional District and a business owner with extensive experience in public-sector leadership and executive management. Her career includes senior roles in corrections, municipal government, and special districts, with a focus on accountability, fiscal discipline, and lawful governance.
Valles has served as a warden and has held executive positions including Director of Finance and Director of Human Resources, overseeing budgets, labor relations, compliance, and organizational operations. She has also served as a city council member and in elected leadership roles on educational boards, including as former president of the Victor Valley College Board of Trustees. In these roles, she emphasized public safety, fiscal responsibility, and transparency to taxpayers.
