In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
For 20 years, I’ve operated at the intersection of business and sustainability, representing some of the nation’s most respected organizations — including The Kroger Company, Publix Super Markets, Mad Industries, Cobb County Government, The Trust for Public Land, The Ford Motor Company, B. Braun, Riverline Recycling, Greystone Power, The Coca-Cola Company, Riverview Landing and State Farm, among others. I don’t just understand the environment—I know the balance sheet.
My clients rely on me for data-driven insights, strategic communications and robust community engagement. I have guided them through crisis management, media relations and experiential planning, designed to strengthen relationships and build public trust.
As a faculty member at Clark Atlanta University, I teach students about emerging careers, how to navigate the economy and provide them with practical ways to do so. Primary research, data analytics, internships and AI conversions are the bedrock of my courses.
I am a proud board member for Keep Cobb Beautiful, Wellstar Cobb Hospital, Friends of the Concord Covered Bridge District and the Kiwanis Club of Greater South Cobb. I founded the Welcome to South Cobb Festival to celebrate our green spaces and connect neighbors.
The eldest of seven siblings, I cherish time with my parents, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. I am an avid cyclist, hiker and traveler. I find inspiration in my faith, nature and community.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Affordability & Fairness: With energy costs on the rise, Georgia families need a commissioner who prioritizes household budgets. I will advocate for sensible rate structures and expanded energy-efficiency incentives that help you lower your monthly bill without sacrificing reliability. See more at https://pressleyforgapsc.com/issues/Clean Energy & Innovation: Georgia is a leader in innovation. I support a balanced energy portfolio—including solar, battery storage and wind—that creates local jobs, protects our natural resources and ensures we aren’t reliant on volatile out-of-state fuel prices. See more at https://pressleyforgapsc.com/issues/Accountability & Community Voice: I believe in a Commission that listens. My commitment is to follow the data, respect expert recommendations and hold regular public forums so that every Georgian—from small business owners to rural farmers—has a voice in our state’s energy decisions.
