In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I am a U.S. Army veteran, small business owner, artist, community advocate, and single mother running to represent Michigan’s 102nd House District because I believe government should work for the people - not special interests.
Like many families in our district, I’ve experienced the challenges of rising healthcare costs, childcare, education, and the increasing cost of living. Those experiences shaped my belief that leadership begins with listening and focuses on solving real problems.
My campaign is built around three priorities: protecting individual rights and freedoms, building healthy communities, and restoring integrity and trust in government. I’m not accepting corporate PAC money because I believe elected officials should answer to the people they represent.
I believe we can disagree without becoming enemies, and that Michigan’s future will be built by people willing to put truth before politics, people before party, and service before self. My goal is simple: leave our communities stronger than we found them and build a future our children will be proud to inherit.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Protecting Rights & Freedoms
I believe every person deserves the freedom to live with dignity, pursue opportunity, and make personal decisions without unnecessary government interference. Protecting constitutional rights, defending civil liberties, and ensuring equal treatment under the law should never be partisan issues. My commitment is to protect the rights of every resident while fostering respectful dialogue, personal responsibility, and accountability.Building Healthy Communities
Healthy communities are built through access to quality healthcare, strong public education, safe neighborhoods, thriving local businesses, affordable housing, and responsible stewardship of our natural resources. I support practical, evidence-based solutions that strengthen families, expand opportunity, and address the root causes of the challenges our communities face rather than simply reacting after crises occur.Building Healthy Communities

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
I am passionate about healthcare reform, mental health, and preventative care because healthy people build healthy communities. I believe every child deserves a quality public education that prepares them for life, whether through college, skilled trades, or other career paths. I support transparent, accountable government that puts people before special interests, protects individual rights and freedoms, strengthens small businesses and local agriculture, and invests in practical solutions that address root causes rather than simply reacting to crises.
