I am Andrew Jewell, a father, husband, industrial worker, and believer that all people deserve to be free of oppression. I am not a political insider, or career office-holder.
I am your REPRESENTATION WITHOUT TAXATION.

An end to wasteful spending.Stop the constant increase of tax burden on our county.Encourage locally-owned and small businesses instead of huge corporations.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Freedom.
End the drug war.
Civil rights for ALL.
Term limits.
Policy transparency.
Responsible spending.
Taxation is theft.
What qualities does this office possess that makes it a unique and important part of the state government and legal system?
The County Commisioners are directly involved in allocating and executing projects using taxpayer dollars, including programs that benefit the constituency as a whole and in part.
What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?
Integrity, Honesty, and Accountability.
What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?
Integrity, Honor, and Insistence on Accountability.
What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?
To limit the burden on taxpayers, to limit the spending of county funds to reasonable rates, and prioritize projects for the direct benefit of the constituency at large, not special interests.
What legacy would you like to leave?
I will not serve more than 2 terms in any office. I look to make a major improvement to spending habits, lower taxes every way possible, and show the people of Dallas County they dont have to accept the status quo.
What was your very first job? How long did you have it?
Contract labor in various construction fields as a teenager, including tile flooring, HVAC, irrigation, and more.
What is your favorite book? Why?
The Walking Drum by Louis Lamour.
The main character survives, struggles, adapts, and thrives by learning and growing no matter the situation. He fights hard for what is right, but treats enemies honorably when possible.
Proof that one can show compassion without wavering on ethics or principle.
What was the last song that got stuck in your head?
Baby Shark.
Are there any little-known powers or responsibilities held by this office that you believe more people should be aware of?
The Commissioners Court sets the property tax increases, and according to the county's own website is currently over 200 Million in debt, despite constant raises. This overspending always comes back on property owners, which translates to rent increases.
Do you believe that it's beneficial for holders of this office to have previous experience in government or politics?
No. The best way to keep elected officials honest is for them to have to go out and live under the policies they pass. That also means having lived under the policies. Career politicians are disconnected from the effects on the people they are supposed to serve.
What kind of skills or expertise do you believe would be the most helpful for the holders of this office to possess?
Understanding of legitimate economics, logistics, and the principles of individual responsibility.
