Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
Andrew Ireland is a strong conservative running to help make Indiana the most pro-family, pro-opportunity state in the nation. A lifelong Hoosier and former Deputy Indiana Attorney General, he is a proven defender of our individual liberties, economic freedom, and law and order.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Cleaning Up Indy's Mess - Andrew is 100% pro-police and has already met with local law enforcement leaders to discuss solutions to reduce violent crime. He is the only candidate with a plan to help make Indianapolis safe again. Andrew will fight to hold rogue judges and local prosecutors accountable, including introducing a bill to give our next Governor the power to fire local prosecutors like Ryan Mears who choose to put violent criminals over the safety of Hoosier families.Taxpayer Relief - Andrew is the only candidate with a plan to reduce the property tax burden on Hoosier homeowners and businesses. At the Statehouse, he will sponsor efforts to cap annual increases in assessments, streamline property tax appeals, and expand senior citizen property tax deductions.Parents’ Rights & Education Freedom - As a product of school choice, Andrew knows firsthand the value of education freedom. Andrew will sponsor universal school choice in his first term. He will also be a strong voice against woke ideology and will work to hold anyone accountable who tries to indoctrinate Indiana’s kids.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
As a Deputy Indiana Attorney General, Andrew was a champion in our courts for the Right to Life, election security, the Second Amendment, and law and order.
What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?
We need leaders with a proven record of fighting and winning for conservative causes. Andrew is twenty years younger than any other candidate in the race, but he’s the only candidate who has a record of winning for conservative causes. As a Deputy Indiana Attorney General, Andrew scored big wins for conservative causes like the Right to Life, election integrity, and stopping the invasion of our southern border. While anyone can say “I’ll fight for your rights,” he’s already done it.
What is the first bill you would introduce if elected?
Andrew will introduce a bill to give the Governor the power to fire rogue local prosecutors who refuse to enforce the law and endanger our communities.
What organizations or individuals have endorsed your campaign?
Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita
Indiana Secretary of State Diego Morales
