Hernandez is an attorney with the Mostyn Law Firm. She has worked as an attorney for ConocoPhilips, staffer of Texas State Representative Joe E. Moreno, and Chief of Staff for Texas State Representative Jessica Farrar.
Hernandez is founder of Latinas on the Rise, sits on the Board of Directors of the Houston Hispanic Bar Association, and is a member of the Precinct Together Board, State Bar of Texas, Tejano Democrats, Texas Bar Foundation Fellow, Texas Chiropractic College Board of Regents, Texas Young Lawyers Association, and Latinas on the Rise.[1]
