In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I'm a working parent, a community leader, and a small business co-owner. I'm meeting today's demand for effective government with a focus on Wisconsin being a state where everyone can thrive!
Professionally, I work with IT teams to deliver large systems upgrades and improvements, managing the work, budget, and schedule. These projects have ranged in cost from $100k to $100M, and I've worked across multiple teams, companies, and industries - including regulated industries like healthcare, financial services, and utilities.
My husband is a former middle school teacher and founded an independent small business that provides educators with science project kits and curriculum. Seeing first-hand how hard it is for small businesses to support their employees with benefits they deserve - like health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings - was a major motivator for my candidacy.
Our two children are in elementary school, and I'll never forget the first time I received a "school safety drill" notice for my 4-year-old's class. School safety and school funding are major opportunities for the Wisconsin state legislature to better meet the needs of our citizens.
