Amanda Ybanez (Republican Party) is running for election to the Hawaii House of Representatives to represent District 30. She is on the ballot in the general election on November 3, 2026. She advanced from the Republican primary on August 8, 2026.

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I’m the daughter of a Filipino immigrant that came to Hawaii for work opportunity and to have his family have better opportunities to make it. I grew up in humble beginnings in public housing and attended Catholic school where I learned and did community service. I have been volunteering my time to my community that I’m born, raised, live for a decade! I face the same social economic challenges everyone else experiences. From cost of living, affordable housing, public safety, work force rights, community disaster emergency response, perpetuating a clean environment, local agriculture self sustainability system, and so much more! I have advocated for these critical community concerns for over a decade. It is time I step forward from the shadows and help to be the voice for the working people, the vulnerable, the ignored, we can bring a brighter future together with our voices heard!
