What qualities does the U.S. House of Representatives possess that makes it unique as an institution?

The House of Representatives is unique in that you are directly involved in influencing policy for future generations.

Do you believe that it's beneficial for representatives to have previous experience in government or politics?

Yes, as long as the official remembers why he or she was elected in he first place. Often a person trying to help their district gets caught up with lobbyist and indifference and forgets where they came from.

What do you perceive to be the United States' greatest challenges as a nation over the next decade?

The greatest challenges that lie ahead for this nation are going to be re-balancing the social, economic, and environmental infrastructure of America.

If you are not a current representative, are there certain committees that you would want to be a part of?

Science, space and technology, Veteran's affairs, Appropriations, Energy and Commerce, Ethics or Intelligence would be a good fit for me although I will do my best in which ever committee I am assigned.
