Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Public Education: Allison is committed to fully funding public education so every child—regardless of ability—receives a high-quality education. As a Dallas ISD parent and the mother of a child with disabilities, she understands the importance of strong special education resources and the danger posed by costly vouchers that drain funding from public schools, resulting in larger class sizes and increased financial strain. Allison will fight to ensure public tax dollars stay in local public schools, giving teachers the support they deserve and every student a fair shot at success.Affordability: Allison believes Texas families should be able to afford to live, work, and raise a family here. She will work to provide meaningful property tax relief for homeowners, limit sharp increases in property appraisals, and close corporate tax loopholes that shift more of the tax burden onto working families and small businesses.
Allison will also push for greater transparency and accountability in the home insurance market, including stronger protections against excessive and unexpected premium increases. She supports expanding homeownership opportunities including increasing down-payment assistance for first-time homebuyers for other essential workers. Her goal is straightforward: reduce the costs that squeeze family budgetHealthcare: Allison believes every Texan should have access to affordable, quality healthcare. As a mother of a child with disabilities, she understands firsthand the challenges families face. Texas has one of the nation’s highest uninsured rates, and Allison supports expanding Medicaid to lower costs, increase access to preventive care, and reduce reliance on expensive emergency care. She will also work to lower insurance premiums and out-of-pocket costs, protect coverage for pre-existing conditions, and expand specialized services and community-based care.
