In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I'm Alfred Molison Jr. I ask for your vote as Texas Agriculture Commissioner. For most of my adult life I've worked for non-profit organizations or government entities. I've worked as Director of Taos Coop student Housing Cooperative and Chairman of the Board of College House Cooperative, as a Travis County Election Judge, at Austin Community Television as a Technology Specialist, Houston Media Source as a Coordinator of Volunteers, Houston Independent School District as a temporary then a Long Term Substitute Teacher, as a Teleservice Representative at the Social Security Administration 1-800 Number for 23 years, talking with America. For the time I've serving as a Harris County Early Voting Election Clerk and an Election Day Judge.
My life is public service. Again, I ask for your vote.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Plant Trees, Build Swales, Encourage Urban Gardening. Let's address the increasing water crisis in Texas through improved water conservation, less water intensive crops, farming and ranching methods, and active Civilian Conservation Corps style public works projects.Start a Non-Profit, State-owned Bank based on the Bank of North Dakota. I'll work to end usury against both the people and the state of Texas. I'll work to improve the living standards of rural and agricultural economy Texans by implementing a universal living wage based on the local cost of housing, lowering the cost of borrowing for farmers, ranchers, students and consumers, building new infrastructure and upgrading existing infrastructure such as the grid, transportation, and water systems.End the Forever War. Declare victory and go home. We need to stop funding the endless war. We need to cut off that gangrenous appendage called Israel. They need to start making friend s and allies both within and without Israel, otherwise they'll go out of existence and drag the US down with them.
Think that's only the prerogative of the Federal government? Look at your food prices, and the cost of diesel. The longer the senseless embargos continue, the worse the economy will be for Texas agronomists, consumers, and our foreign allies. If the current US regime doesn't stop attacking Iran then the whole world will turn against America.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Non-profit, public financing of infrastructure, reversing the water shortage, and improving the standard of living of the people of Texas, especially for rural Texans, farmers, and urbanites not just in the distant future but right now!
