Background

Alex Finkelman graduated from the Providence Country Day School in East Providence. Finkelman earned a B.S. in business administration, insurance, and finance from the University of Hartford in 2008. His career experience includes owning the Egis Insurance Group, specializing in insurance, consulting, and employee benefits. He served on the Jamestown zoning board.[1][2]

As a lifelong Rhode Islander, it’s very important to me that we leave our state and our district as a better place for our children and future generations. I believe I have the experience and background to help move us forward.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

These are challenging times for everyone.No one has been spared from inflation, we’re still dealing with the effects of the pandemic, and our politics have become too polarizedI will use my small business and finance background to bring a pragmatic approach to state government, working together with state and local leaders and focusing on issues that have a real, tangible impact on residents of this district.
