Alberto Flores earned a bachelor's degree from Arizona State University in 2025.[1]

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

Born in the legislative district he now hopes to serve, Alberto Flores is the son of a working-class, mixed-status immigrant family, who is well acquainted with the hurdles standing between individuals and their pursuit of the American Dream. As a teenager, Alberto helped support his family by expanding their business while earning his diploma. Alberto's political activism began under Arpaio and SB1070, and has carried on through his work with organizations in support of legislation fighting for marginalized communities. Alberto’s Political Science degree from Arizona State joins his real-world experience in developing legislation and unifying community groups through shared values.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Crack down on corporate price gouging,

address the housing crisis, and fight for an

economy that works for working families,

not just big corporations. I support stronger

worker protections, the right to organize,

and policies that respect the value of union

labor.Take on drug and insurance companies to

lower premiums and prescription costs, and

protect funding for the programs Arizona’s

most vulnerable families rely on for care and

stability.Fully fund public schools, bring transparency to

ESA spending, and crack down on waste, fraud,

and abuse in the program. We also need to

better pay teachers and school staff and invest

in the people who make our public schools

work.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I’m especially passionate about affordability, public education, and healthcare. As someone who comes from a working-class background, I care deeply about lowering costs for families, from housing and groceries to prescription drugs and insurance. I’m also passionate about strengthening public schools by increasing funding, supporting teachers and staff, and ensuring accountability.
