Alan Aversa graduated from the University of Arizona in 2008 with a B.S. in physics and astronomy and minors in math and Italian. His being a TA for an E&M lab class invigorated his interest in teaching. Since then, he has taught physics and computer programming in classrooms and online. As a school board member, he will promote STEM programs and ensure taxpayer money is spent efficiently and only on what will improve instructional quality.

When schools usurp parents' rights and teach what is opposed to parents' values. Parents are their children's primary educators; schools are for teaching what the parents cannot.
