Al Jirak earned a high school diploma from Centre High School and a bachelor's degree from Kansas State University in 2003. Jirak's career experience includes working as an entrepreneur.[1]

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am an entrepreneur, a lifelong Kansan, a husband of 22 years, and a proud father with a large family. Raised on a rural family farm in Tampa, Kansas, I learned the value of hard work early on. That foundation supported me through my education as a Computer Engineering graduate from Kansas State University and into my professional career. Since 2006, I have served as the founder and co-president of Solutio, a technology firm that now employs 20 full-time staff and serves clients across 39 states. Beyond business, I am deeply committed to community service. I have spent over a decade in marriage preparation ministry and founded a non-profit dedicated to strengthening father-son relationships. My life is rooted in the belief that strong families and thriving local businesses are the bedrock of Kansas. I am running to ensure our government reflects those values.

Proven Leadership and Stability

I bring a 20 year track record of business growth and technical expertise to the table. Having built a technology firm from the ground up that operates in 39 states, I understand the operational needs and challenges of the modern economy. My experience at Cargill also provided me with critical insight into the agricultural and industrial sectors that drive our state. I will use this stability and professional experience to ensure the Kansas government operates efficiently and effectively for all citizens.Championing the Family

As a husband, father, and grandfather, I believe that the health of our community starts with the health of the family. I have spent years in leadership roles within my parish and community, focusing on programs that support marriages and mentorship. In the House, I will fight for policies that empower parents, from school choice to protecting the lives of the unborn, ensuring that Kansas remains the best place to raise a family.Limited Government and Fiscal Responsibility

I am a firm believer in the principle of local control, which is the idea that issues are best handled at the most local level possible rather than by a centralized bureaucracy. I will work to reduce government bloat and administrative waste, freeing up resources for essential priorities. By lowering the tax burden on individuals and businesses, we return power to families and foster a competitive market where everyone has the opportunity to prosper.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I am deeply passionate about the pro-life movement and protecting the sanctity of life from conception to natural death. This commitment includes actively helping and protecting mothers in need and their young children to ensure they have the support and resources they need to thrive. I believe our state should lead the way in valuing every life and providing a strong foundation for both mothers and children.
