ST. GEORGE – Residents who hoped to get a head start on early voting in St. George were set back a bit this morning when the electronic voting machines failed to work because of a glitch with voting cards. Some voters opted to use paper ballots to cast votes for the presidential election instead of waiting for the machines to come back on line.
The lines have been long at the downtown St. George site. The line is moving more quickly, however, at the Dixie Center.
Early voting continues until Oct. 31.
